  Awesome place to visit and refresh oneself in the cold, fresh and very clear water of the waterfalls. Suggest to avoid high season, otherwise you're risking to enjoy it together with 1384 other people :-)

  Good place to spend a few hours swimming or just enjoying the fresh air and tranquillity, there are lots of steps though, so its not an easy walk for those unsteady on their feet. Well worth the admission

  We visited it off season. We didn't pay, but we didn't swim either just wanted to visit it. It is a nice river environment with a couple of waterfalls and I would love to visit it in summer because the water looks great, although I image it may be full of people. It is very accessible for every age (although wheelchairs have no visible access). It looks clean and well maintained, but do not come here to connect to nature because you will be disappointed.

  A swimming place unlike any other - a stretch of mountain river with many access points surrounded with trees, plants and flowers. Parking is in one of the many car parks in town (5-7 euros) then a walk through town and up the hill to the site. Picnics only allowed in one designated picnic space near the entrance; we left ours for free in a locker room. Only fruit, chocolate and water could be taken to the river. The site is large, ranging from shallow and wide gravel pools at the top to narrower stretches with small waterfalls and then steeper falls with jumping spots. The water is cold but clean and beautiful. In late July it was very busy, but because food was restricted the site was very clean. If you're expecting a totally natural setting you'll be disappointed - the site has been landscaped with paths, steps and bridges - but we found a lovely shady spot under trees next to the water. We were told that the local town has invested in the site, and the profits from parking and entry fees to the river is split between the community.

  Stunning place, well worth the drive to visit. Visited at weekend in high season so very busy. Only downside was not allowed to take picnic in, but restaurants available in waterfall and loads in village close-by. Will definitely visit again but maybe at less busy time.
